Joopita IBS - Integrated Business SuiteWhat's the Joopita IBS?The Joopita IBS is a suite of tools for businesses, organisations and institutions. It improves your internal communications and allows to manage contacts, todo lists, calendars and more. The IBS is still a prototype, it has been released as ALPHA/ZERO in December 2010. The current version is Alpha/ONE as of January 2011. A BETA version is expected to be released in mid 2011, the final version shall become available in early 2012. The current release is only a proof of concept, please wait for the BETA if you'd like to use it in production environments. Feature listPlease not that not all features are operational yet!!! - Social network, messaging, blogs, forums and chat to improve your in-house communication - Calendars, todo-lists, notes, reports, ... - Company info: important people, news, rules, procedures, website(s), ... - Document management: wiki, bookmarks, text dumps, fileserver, ... - Contacts & support: contacts (employees, customers, partners, suppliers, ...), issue tracking system, FAQs ... - Products & services: database, development, resources, ... - Sales: offers & invoices, online shop(s), finance, ... - Marketing: campaign management, mailing lists, resources, ... Download & InstallationThe Joopita IBS has been written in Perl and it runs on Linux and MacOS X servers. Clients can be anything from Windows to MacOS X, Linux, iOS or anything else featuring a modern web browser. The IBS requires the Apache webserver, it will run in both CGI and mod_perl environments (it may run on other webservers too, but this has not been tested). It also requires an SQL database, the current release has been tested with MySQL - other SQL databases should work too, but this hasn't been tested yet.
